Turkey Schnitzel

Preparation time: less than 30 mins

Cooking time: less than 10 mins

Serves: Serves 4






Ingredients


- 4 thin British turkey breast steaks, about 350g

- 2 large free-range eggs

- 4 tbsp milk

- 200g/7oz breadcrumbs - 200g/7oz of flour


To serve

-1 lemon, cut into wedges




Method

  1. Season both sides of the turkey escalopes. Beat the eggs with the milk, put in a bowl the breadcrumbs, and put the flour into a separate bowl.

  2. Dip the turkey breast escalopes, one at a time, into flour, then into the beaten eggs, and then in the breadcrumb mixture.

  3. Put oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. When is hot put it one at a time the breaded Schnitzel in and fry for 2 minutes on each side until golden brown. Place them in the oven to keep them warm.

  4. Serve the Schnitzel straight away, you can serve it with Spatzle, salat, or chips.
